The event we attended was a great idea in itself, and we had a good time. However, the site chosen for the event was not well thought out. One of the first things I mentioned to our group was about having good ventilation indoors. I was completely surprised when we entered and saw the less than ideal fresh air environment. I have been to many indoor events with gasoline-powered machines before. I understand why they held the event indoors due to the time of year and climate. It wasn't too bad until one of the trucks got stuck on a safety berm and revved the engine for several minutes, filling the arena with smoke and fumes. The show had to be stopped to clear out the thick engine smoke and fumes. An announcement was made for anyone feeling dizzy to leave for fresh air. They eventually brought in fans to help clear it out. Besides that, it was an enjoyable show with mayhem and destruction. I look forward to future Tommy G productions but might skip indoor demo derbies. We plan to attend the demo derby again this year during the state fair. SEE YOU THERE.
